Description

The project was developed by Tenaska Virginia Partners. The project is currently owned by J-Power USA Generation with a stake of 30%, Chubu Electric Power, Tenaska and Tyr Energy.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Distillate Fuel oil. The fuel is procured from Williams Transco Pipeline, Shell Energy North America (US), L.P..

The project generated 3,700,852MWh of electricity.
