Description
The project was developed by Therma Power Visayas. Aboitiz Power and Vivant Energy are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 80% and 20% respectively.
It is a Steam Turbine power plant.
The project cost is $781.28m.
The thermal power project consists of 2 turbines each with 170 MW nameplate capacity.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in April 2019.
Contractors Involved
Galing Power & Energy Construction and Hyundai Engineering were selected to render EPC services for the coal fired power project.
Sumitomo SHI FW Energia supplied steam boiler for the project.
