The project is currently owned by Maharashtra State Power Generation with a stake of 100%.
Tillari is a reservoir based project. The gross head and net head of the project are 625.36m and 624.8m respectively. The penstock length is 380m. The project generated 133 GWh of electricity.

Bharat Heavy Electricals was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 1 unit of pelton turbine with 60MW nameplate capacity.
