The project is currently owned by The Carlyle Group.
It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant that is used for Baseload. The fuel is procured from Algonquin Gas Transmission.
The project generated 1,302,320MWh of electricity.
Development Status

Contractors Involved
Tiverton Combined Cycle Power Plant (Tiverton Combined Cycle Power Plant Unit I) is equipped with GE Power 7E.03 gas turbine. The phase consists of 1 gas turbine with 179.3MW nameplate capacity.
Tiverton Combined Cycle Power Plant (Tiverton Combined Cycle Power Plant Unit II) is equipped with GE Power A10 steam turbine. The phase consists of 1 steam turbine with 93.2MW nameplate capacity.
GE Power supplied Hydrogen Cooled electric generator for the Tiverton Combined Cycle Power Plant (Tiverton Combined Cycle Power Plant Unit I).
GE Power supplied Air Cooled electric generator for the Tiverton Combined Cycle Power Plant (Tiverton Combined Cycle Power Plant Unit II).
Nooter/Eriksen supplied steam boiler for the project.
