Description
The project is developed and owned by Acciona Energia Chile. The company has a stake of 100%.
The project generates 307,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 140,000 households, offsetting 240,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $166.152m.
The Concrete towers installed at the project site are 120m high.

Contractors Involved
Nordex was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 28 units of AW 132/3000 turbines, each with 3MW nameplate capacity.
