The project was developed by Marubeni. MUFG Bank and SB Energy are currently owning the project.

Tomakomai Yufutsu Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 48 hectares.

The project generates 32,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 9,000 households. The project cost is $66.174m.
