Torul, Turkey

Torul is a 103MW hydro power project. It is located on Harshit river/basin in Gumushane, Turkey. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. The project construction commenced in 2000 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 2009.

Power Machines was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 turbines, each with 52.8MW nameplate capacity.

Power Machines supplied 2 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 60.75 MVA.
