Description

The project was developed by Blattner Energy and BP Wind Energy North America. Ares Management and UBS Asset Management (Americas) are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 50.1% and 49.9% respectively.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 67,000 households. The project cost is $488.025m.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Electric Reliability Council of Texas under a power purchase agreement.

Contractors Involved

Clipper Windpower was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 90 units of Liberty C96 turbines, each with 2.5MW nameplate capacity.

Vestas UpWind Solutions is the O&M contractor for the wind power project, commencing from the year 2012.
