Description
The project is developed and owned by Trung Nam Solar Power.
Trung Nam Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 264 hectares.
The project generates 425GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 200,000 households, offsetting 250,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $220m.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in June 2019.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Vietnam Electricity under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.093kWh for a period of 20 years, starting from 2019. The contracted capacity is 204MW.
Contractors Involved
JinkoSolar Holding was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 700,000 modules each with 380W of nameplate capacity.
Siemens supplied 45 inverters to the project site.
The project is utilising trackers supplied by Arctech Solar Holding.
The project is utilising horizontal single axis trackers supplied by Arctech Solar Holding.
