Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Eskom Holdings SOC under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.

Contractors Involved

Vestas Southern Africa was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 31 units of V112-3.0 MW turbines, each with 3.075MW nameplate capacity.

Vestas Southern Africa is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2016, for a period of 15 years.
