Tuaspring IWPP is a 411MW gas fired power project. It is located in South West, Singapore. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in March 2016.

Description

The project is currently owned by Public Utilities Board.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Distillate Fuel Oil.

The project cost is $450.004m.

The project got commissioned in March 2016.

Contractors Involved

Siemens was selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.

Siemens was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 1 unit of SGT5-4000F gas turbine with 292MW nameplate capacity.

Siemens was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 1 unit of SST5-3000 steam turbine with 119MW nameplate capacity.

Siemens supplied SGen5-2000H electric generator for the project.

Vogt Power International supplied steam boiler for the project.

NAES is the O&M contractor for thermal power project.
