Vattenfall and Holmen Energi are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 93% and 7% respectively.

Tuggen is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 10.8 million cubic meter. The gross head of the project is 28m. The project generated 441 GWh of electricity.

The hydro power project consists of 2 turbines.
