Tula (Francisco Perez Rios) Combined Cycle Power Plant is a 550MW gas fired power project. It is located in Hidalgo, Mexico. The project is currently active. It has been developed in multiple phases. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in May 1981.

The project was developed by Avanzia Instalaciones, Cobra Instalaciones y Servicios, Doosan Skoda Power and Initec Energia. The project is currently owned by Comision Federal de Electricidad with a stake of 100%.
It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Fuel Oil.
The project generated 2,641,000MWh of electricity.
The Gas fired project consists of 2 steam turbines.
The project got commissioned in May 1981.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Comision Federal de Electricidad under a power purchase agreement with a contracted capacity is 550MW.
Avanzia Instalaciones, Cobra Instalaciones y Servicios, Doosan Skoda Power and Initec Energia were selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.
Siemens was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 2 units of SGT6-5000F gas turbines.
Siemens supplied SGEN6-1000 electric generator for the project.
Siemens is the O&M contractor for thermal power project for a period of 16 years.
