The project is being developed by Enel, Enel Green Power North America and TradeWind Energy. These companies also have ownership stakes in the project.
TWE Front-Range Midway Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 911 acres.
The electricitiy generated from the plant will offset 182,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $107.8m.
The solar power project consists of 300,000 modules.
Development Status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2023.
