Description

The project was developed by Innogy and Notos. The project is currently owned by RWE with a stake of 100%.

The project generates 70,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 35,000 households, offsetting 65,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $72.45m.

Contractors Involved

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 15 units of SWT-2.3-93 turbines, each with 2.3MW nameplate capacity.
