Description

The project is currently owned by Tenaska Capital Management.

It is a Gas Turbine power plant that is used for Peakload. The fuel is procured from ANR Pipeline.

The project generated 207,434MWh of electricity.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in June 2001.

Contractors Involved

Mitsubishi Power Aero was selected as the turbine supplier for thermal power project. The project consists of 6 units of Aeroderivative FT8 TwinPac turbines, each with 57MW nameplate capacity.

Mitsubishi Power Aero supplied electric generator for the project.

IHI Power Services is the O&M contractor for thermal power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2018, for a period of 5 years.
