Pulp waste which is a kind of industrial waste will be used as a feedstock to power the project.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the UPM 2 Biomass Power Plant will be sold to Administracion Nacional de Usinas y Trasmisiones Electricas under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.
Contractors Involved
Andritz is likely to be the supplier of the steam boiler for the project.
