Description

The project is developed and owned by Vietnam Urban and Industrial Zone Development Investment.

The hydro reservoir capacity is 312.38 million cubic meter. The project generated 589.34 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $154.343m.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Vietnam Electricity under a power purchase agreement, starting from 2012.

Contractors Involved

Dongfang Electric was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 units of francis turbines, each with 76.3MW nameplate capacity.

Dongfang Electric supplied 2 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 87.06 MVA.
