The project is developed and owned by Sino Hydro Sagarmatha Power.
Upper Marshyangdi is a run-of-river project. The project generated 317 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $148.073m.
The hydro power project consists of 2 turbines, each with 25MW nameplate capacity.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Nepal Electricity Authority under a power purchase agreement with a contracted capacity is 50MW.
