Jammu and Kashmir State Power Development Corporation Ltd (JKSPDCL) is a power supplying corporation that generates, supplies, and transmits electric power. It operates, executes, and maintains all power stations and power projects of the state. The corporation operates gas turbines based on HSD with installed capacity of one seventy five MW at Pampore near Srinagar. It was presently has twenty hydroelectric projects with installed capacity of seven fifty eight MW located in various districts of Jammu & Kashmir including four fifty MW BHEP. JKSPDCL also constructs transmission lines and performs ancillary works for suitable and co-coordinated supply of power and electrical energy. The corporation projects are located on Jhelum river basin, Chenab basin, Ravi basin and Indus basin, among others. JKSPDCL is headquartered in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India.
