The project is being developed and currently owned by Union Hydropower.

Upper Tamor A is a run-of-river project. The gross head and net head of the project will be 900m and 869.97m respectively. The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, is expected to be 1 in number. The penstock length will be 2,000m. The project is expected to generate 393.92 GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $98.048m.

Development Status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2024. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2026.
