The UTE Rio Grande Power Plant is 1,238MW gas fired power project. It is planned in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. The project is being developed and currently owned by ACS France.

It is a combined cycle gas turbine (ccgt) power plant.

The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2024.

Contractors Involved

Duro Felguera and GE Power are expected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.

GE Power will be the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company is expected to provide 3 units of 7HA.02 gas turbines.
