Description

The project is currently owned by Eletrogoes.

The project generates 160GWh of electricity.

The process of combustion has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Wood waste which is a kind of wood by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.

Contractors Involved

Dedini was selected to render EPC services for the biopower project.

Siemens was selected as the steam turbine supplier for the project. The company provided 2 units of SST300N turbines, each with 12MW nameplate capacity.
