Vaasa Biogas Power Plant, Finland

Vaasa Biogas Power Plant is a 105MW biopower project. It is located in Ostrobothnia, Finland. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in March 2013.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 61,000 households, offsetting 230,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $52.1m.

Agricultural by-product and wood by-product are used as a feedstock to power the project.
