The project was developed by Casa dos Ventos Energias Renovaveis, Salus Fundo de Investimento em Participacoes Mult and Ventos de Sao Januario Energias Renovaveis. Salus Fundo de Investimento em Participacoes Mult and Ventos de Sao Januario Energias Renovaveis are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 99.99% and 0.01% respectively.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Vale under a power purchase agreement for a period of 23 years, starting from 2020.

Contractors involved

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 12 units of V150-4.2 MW turbines, each with 4.2MW nameplate capacity.

Vestas Wind Systems is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2020, for a period of 20 years.
