Description
The project was developed by Vientos de Necochea. The project is co-owned by Centrales de la Costa Atlantica and Genneia, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.
The project generates 158GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 52,000 households, offsetting 110,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $62m.
The project has 87m high towers.

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in February 2020.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Cammesa under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.055kWh for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 37.95MW.
Contractors Involved
Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 11 units of V126-3.45MW turbines, each with 3.45MW nameplate capacity.
