Description
The project is developed and owned by MSU Energy.
It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Diesel.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in January 2018.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the Villa Maria Power Plant (Villa Maria Power Plant Phase I) is sold to Cammesa under a power purchase agreement for a period of 10 years.
The power generated from the Villa Maria Power Plant (Villa Maria Power Plant Phase II Unit I) is sold to Cammesa under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years.
The power generated from the Villa Maria Power Plant (Villa Maria Power Plant Phase II Unit II) is sold to Cammesa under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years.

Villa Maria Power Plant (Villa Maria Power Plant Phase I) is equipped with GE Power 4×1 MS LM6000-PC™Sprint®* – 50Hz gas turbines. The phase consists of 3 gas turbines with 50MW nameplate capacity.
Villa Maria Power Plant (Villa Maria Power Plant Phase II Unit I) is equipped with GE Power 4×1 MS LM6000-PC™Sprint®* – 50Hz gas turbine. The phase consists of 1 gas turbine with 50MW nameplate capacity.
Villa Maria Power Plant (Villa Maria Power Plant Phase II Unit II) is equipped with GE Power steam turbine. The phase consists of 1 steam turbine with 50MW nameplate capacity.
Vogt Power International supplied steam boiler for the project.
