Deseret Generation and Transmission Cooperative, PacifiCorp, Provo City Power and Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems are currently owning the project.

It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is bituminous. In case of shortage of bituminous the plant can also run on Distillate Fuel Oil.
