Vresova IGCC Power Plant is a 400MW coal fired power project. It is located in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in 1996.

Description

The project is currently owned by Sokolovska uhelna, pravni nastupce.

It is a Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is syngas. In case of shortage of syngas the plant can also run on Natural Gas.

The project got commissioned in 1996.

Contractors Involved

The Coal fired project have been supplied by EKOL spol and GE Power.

GE Power supplied T240-370 electric generator for the project.
