Vrla I is a 50.66MW hydro power project. It is located on Vlasina river/basin in Southern and Eastern Serbia, Serbia. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in 1955.

Description

The project was developed by Hidrotehnika Hidroenergetika and is currently owned by Electric Power Industry of Serbia.

The gross head of the project is 338m. The project generated 95 GWh of electricity.

The project got commissioned in 1955.

Contractors Involved

The turbines for the hydro power project have been supplied by CKD Blansko Holding and Litostroj Power.

The electric generators for the project were procured from Doosan Skoda Power and Koncar Generators and Motors.
