Description

The project is developed and owned by Gujarat State Electricity.

It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is coal. In case of shortage of coal the plant can also run on Light Diesel Oil/Heavy Fuel Oil. The fuel is procured from Gare Plama Coal Block.

The project cost is $491.263m.
