The project is currently owned by Virginia Electric and Power.
It is a combined cycle gas turbine (ccgt) power plant. The fuel is procured from Columbia Gas Transmission,LLC(TCO) Pipeline.
The project generated 8,896,717MWh of electricity. The project cost is $1,100m.

Contractors Involved
Burns & McDonnell and Zachry were selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.
Mitsubishi Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 3 units of M501GAC – 60Hz gas turbines, each with 297.5MW nameplate capacity.
