Watson Seed Farm Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 159 acres.
The project generates 40GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 3,800 households. The project cost is $45m.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in December 2015.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Dominion Energy North Carolina under a power purchase agreement.
Contractors Involved
Solar Frontier was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 150,000 modules at the site.
