Description
The project was developed by Gunkul Engineering Public and PowerChina Zhongnan Engineering. The project is currently owned by Wind Energy Development.
The project generates 120,000MWh electricity thereby offsetting 60,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $196m.
The project has 125m high towers.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.102kWh for a period of 10.00 years, starting from 2016.
Contractors Involved
PowerChina Zhongnan Engineering was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 25 units of G114-2.0 MW turbines, each with 2MW nameplate capacity.
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2016, for a period of 10 years.
