Description

The project is being developed and currently owned by Northacre Renewable Energy.

The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 46,000 households. The project cost is expected to be around $125.996m.

The process of gasification will be adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Industrial waste and municipal solid waste will be used as a feedstock to power the project.

Development Status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2023.
