The project is being developed and currently owned by Statkraft UK. The company has a stake of 100%.

White Cross Solar PV Park I is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 75 hectares.

The project is expected to generate 5,100MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 14,500 households. The project is expected to offset 23,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $45.659m.
