The project was developed by Energiekontor and is currently owned by Encavis with a stake of 51%.
The project generates 89.5GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 25,000 households, offsetting 53,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $74.12m.
