Description

The project is developed and owned by China Everbright Environment Group.

The project generates 180GWh of electricity. The project cost is $131.55m.

The process of combustion has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Household waste which is a kind of municipal solid waste is used as a feedstock to power the project.

The project consists of 2 turbines, each with 18MW nameplate capacity.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in October 2016.

Contractors Involved

China Everbright Environment Group supplied steam boiler for the project. The boiler installed at the site has a capacity of 750TPH.
