The process of combustion has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Household waste which is a kind of municipal solid waste is used as a feedstock to power the project.
The project consists of 2 turbines, each with 18MW nameplate capacity.
The project got commissioned in October 2016.
China Everbright Environment Group supplied steam boiler for the project. The boiler installed at the site has a capacity of 750TPH.
