Wujiangdu is a 1,250MW hydro power project. It is located on Wujiang river/basin in Guizhou, China. The project is currently active. It has been developed in multiple phases. The project construction commenced in 1970 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 1982.

Wujiangdu is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 2,300 million cubic meter. The gross head and net head of the project are 132m and 116m respectively. The project cost is $71m.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to China Southern Power Grid under a power purchase agreement.

DEC Dongfang Electric Machinery supplied 3 electric generators for the Wujiangdu (Wujiangdu I). The generator capacity is 250 MVA.
