The project was developed by CGN Wind Power and is currently owned by China General Nuclear Power with a stake of 100%.
The project generates 117,315MWh electricity thereby offsetting 107,695t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $68.162m.

Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 33 units of GW 1.5/77 turbines, each with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.
