Description

The project was developed by Huaneng Dali Hydrpower and is currently owned by Huaneng Lancang River Hydropower with a stake of 100%.

Xucun is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 73 million cubic meter. The gross head of the project is 45m. The project generated 345 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $72.2m.

The project has 3 electric generators installed at the site. The generator capacity is 28.6 MVA.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to China Southern Power Grid under a power purchase agreement.

Contractors Involved

Harbin Electric Machinery was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 3 units of francis turbines, each with 28.6MW nameplate capacity.
