Description
The project is developed and owned by Sancak Enerji Hizmetleri.
The project generates 139,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 90,000 households, offsetting 76,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $103.435m.
Development Status
The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in February 2016.
Contractors Involved
Nordex was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 22 units of N117 (2.4 MW) turbines, each with 2.4MW nameplate capacity.
Nordex is the O&M contractor for the wind power project for a period of 5 years.
