Description
Gulf Electric Public and Yala Waste are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 95% and 5% respectively.
The electricitiy generated from the plant has offsetted 60,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $55.984m.
Wood waste which is a kind of wood by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in August 2006.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.

Gulf Yala Green is the O&M contractor for the project.
