Yucheng is a 60MW hydro power project. It is located on Qingyi river/basin in Sichuan, China. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. The project construction commenced in 1993 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 1995.

Description
The project was developed by Sichuan Baoxing River Electric Power. China Huaneng Group, Sichuan Power Development, Ya’an Hydropower Development, Changjiang River Resource Hydropower Development and Ya’an Electric Power are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 68%, 12%, 10%, 8% and 2% respectively.
Yucheng is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 10.85 million cubic meter. The project generated 311 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $52.53m.

The project construction commenced in 1993 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 1995.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to State Grid Corporation of China under a power purchase agreement.
Contractors Involved
Chongqing Water Turbine Works was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 3 units of kaplan turbines, each with 20MW nameplate capacity.
Chongqing Water Turbine Works supplied 3 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 20 MVA.
