The projects will be situated in the southern region of Italy and commence operations between 2026 and 2027.

With a total installed capacity of 173MW, the renewable energy facilities are projected to produce more than 400 gigawatt hours (GWh) of electricity per year.

Apple will receive 80% of this energy output, while the remaining 20% will be supplied to the grid, contributing to the energy requirements of 30,000 households annually.

The electricity generated by the plants will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 160,000 tonnes annually, comparable to the emissions produced by 70,000 traditional cars.
