"HRSGs are designed for improved reliability, ease of maintenance and thermal efficiency."

"In particular, our HRSGs operating behind Siemens and Mitsubishi J-gas turbines, respectively, will help secure reliable power generation in Thailand and South Korea."

According to Foster Wheeler, HRSGs are designed for improved reliability, ease of maintenance and thermal efficiency.

The generators recover waste energy from processed gas, internal combustion engines, gas-turbine exhaust and other hot gas sources within power plants and cogeneration facilities.

In June, Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems (MHPS) has received a contract from Daewoo E&C for the supply of core components for the Pocheon power plant.

Under the deal, MHPS will supply two M501J gas turbines, one steam turbine and three generators for the power plant to be constructed in Pocheon city, about 45km northwest of Seoul.
