Curtiss-Wright Flow Control Company’s business unit Enertech has signed an exclusive deal with Chalmers & Kubeck to deliver services to the nuclear industry.

The firms will be responsible for providing integrated services and life-cycle management of specialised, critical components to the nuclear power industry.

Enertech’s nuclear service offerings on major plant components include shop and field repair, refurbishment, machining, welding, upgrades and retrofits.

Curtiss-Wright Flow Control Company president David Linton said: "Our partnership with Chalmers & Kubeck immediately broadens our component services offering and aftermarket responsiveness for valves and actuation, pumps, gear boxes and other rotating equipment to our valued customers in the North American nuclear market.

"It is another example of our commitment to offering products and services that deliver real, differentiating value to the customer."

Under the terms of the agreement, Enertech will focus its efforts on sales and marketing for Chalmers & Kubeck’s service, repair and machining capabilities.

The alliance will also render Enertech’s nuclear quality assurance programme for components in safety related applications.
