The joint venture between Duke Energy Renewables and Integrys Energy Services has completed the installation of five rooftop photovoltaic (PV) systems in Pennsylvania, US, with Smart Energy Capital.

The installation has been carried out for the Bald Eagle Area School District and Bellefonte Area School District.

Schools involved include Bald Eagle Middle and High School, Wingate Elementary School, Bellefonte Area High School, Marion Walker Elementary School and Pleasant Gap Elementary School. The collective can produce around 1.5MW of clean electricity.

The central Pennsylvania school districts are purchasing all the output for an undisclosed sum under a 20 year power purchase agreement with a project company owned by INDU Solar Holdings.
