Emerson Process Management has received a $10m order to supply Fisher control valves for the 2,800MW Rabigh Power Plant No.2 project in Saudi Arabia.
The order was awarded by Korea-based Doosan Heavy Industries, which is the project’s engineering, procurement and construction contractor.

Under the contract, Emerson will supply 670 Fisher control valves for the boiler, turbine gas, multi-stage flash desalination and selective catalytic reduction applications.
The company will also provide valve engineering, project management, site start-up and commissioning support services.
The $3.4bn project, being built by Saudi Electricity Company, is scheduled to be operational by 2014.
