The pre-qualification tender application is expected to launch in December.

Shaleen Kabra, Jammu and Kashmir Power Development Corporation (JKPDC) managing director, said the capacity of the Karthai-I HEP project is expected to increase from 240MW to 400MW.
In addition, a proposal for the 990MW Karthai-II unit is in its advanced stages, reports PTI.
